I tell ya, these CCEE girls come up with some doozie challenges...yes, it's Monday and time once again to post our project....this week using a 'bag' in our work.
No stamps were harmed in the making of this card *wink*
You start by cutting the length of the bag to just under card size(4.25), fold up the little flap and attach it inside your reg card size cs...you could stamp the front but I chose to just use pattern paper...your flap is approximately a piece 5.5 x 2.5, here I scalloped the edge with a corner rounder (guard taken off).
Now, the cool part of this is that's a real snap (left over from my sewing days...you remember buying material, actually MAKING a garment ON a sewing machine...electric not treadle...before someone makes a wisecrack!) and I used my crop a dile to set it!
so, there you have MY bag...I'll stamp a note to slip inside later;)
tfl
*later added* don't throw away the top of the bag you cut off, you can fold up the bottom and use it for another insert!

Wow, this is so cute Dawn. I love it...and thanks for the directions to boot! I like the fact that you used a real snap...but I gotta tell you....looks like a square rhinestone brad to me....but then I know you would never tease about something as serious as our Monday challenge, so I believe you!
Please upload another picture of the backside of the real snap and the other part it snaps into since in this picture it looks like it could have been drawn in....
Snort....giggle...bwahahahaha...all those goofy laughing words...All kidding aside....it truly is adorable!

Hey, Dawn, that really looks great - seriously!! I love the coupling mode of your camera ( Papermoon explained that stuff to me ). It's very cool - and it looks kind of like a tutorial!!! Great stuff!!! I see tutorials in your future - with step by step photos!
