Well....today's inspiration challenge was to honor someone who inspires you. Well....I have many people (and some pets) who inspire me in one way or another. However, I chose to do this card for my dear friend, JoAnne. (no....no...not myself....this is my dear friend, JoAnne....notice the capital A...that distinguishes me from her....lol)
JoAnne has been the dearest of friends for nearly 40 years.....she is one of those people who expect nothing but give it all......she has always been my 'cheerleader' through thick and thin, good times and bad.......and has been the person who has accompanied me to my retina specialist visits which are often very tense and worrisome for me. She is also the epitome of the saying that your friends become your chosen family. Her husband and son have become just as wonderful to me as JoAnne has always been.
JoAnne is also my most 'fav' card recipient. She has saved every card I have sent her......even when they weren't so great......cuz she has always understoon that it doesn't matter how they look....she knew it came from the heart.
So....I now try to send my most favorite creations to her. This will be a holiday card for her and I know she will love it, no matter how it looks.

What a wonderful story...what a wonderful freindship. I love that you have made many a card for her and she has cherished each and every one! She sounds as special as you...birds of a feather...I am sure you in turn have been there for her....That type of friendship is to be cherished!
This is so awesome.....she will love it....and you KNOW she will! It is gorgeous...and very much so another spectacular beauty!

That's a lovely story of friendship, Joanne!! I don't think I'll have time to play today, but I am loving looking over the cards, and reading peoples stories!! Yours is wonderful!! The card too ! Such a lovely card in black and white - stunning!
