Nice color challenge -- love the way these colors work together. The lattice folding was easy and fun. The dahlia folding was neither, but I liked the way it looks when it's done.

Well, a couple of people have asked for directions now, but this is tricky. I saw one of these in a magazine but no directions were available. I'll try to come up with a logical explanation, but until then, here's the system I used:
1. Stare at the picture for hours trying to figure out the folds.
2. Punch out 257 circles in order to get 9 usable petals.
3. Soak in your bathtub practicing bad words while you try to fold little petals.
4. Toss the rejects into the toilet from bathtub. (set up point scoring system)
5. Call plumber to unclog toilet.
All right, seriously now (but I really did do most of the above.) I tried asking if anyone had directions in the tech section of the forums, but didn't get any takers. I'll try to explain it here.
I used the 1 3/8 inch circle punch, but any workable circle size will do. Fold each circle in half and open it back up. The top part is sort of a half-moon shape, so fold half the circle upward, keeping the center fold intact and forming that rounded top. Along the center crease, fold back the small part of the petal. Arrange them in a circle pattern. I usually just punch out another circle to glue them to. Good luck!
