Last night at our monthly upline meeting of the "Yes Ma'am Stampers" I demoed these origamy boxes and the designer paper bow. My dimensions for the bow were a little different. They were a little fuller since we had an extra layer. 12 strips at 5 x 3/4, 4 strips at 4 x 3/4 and 1 strip at 3 x 3/4. We put ours together with sticky strip and brads. Then I took some skinny strips of paper and used my bone folder to make the strips curl just like you would curling ribbon. I slipped them in and out through the loops.

I just made my first Origami Box. I like yours better, it looks smaller. Mine was the 11 1/2x 11 1/2 for the bottom and 11/x11 for the top. I wanted to put 3x3 notes & envelopes inside but I think it's too big. Please tell me about yours...what are the dimensions and would the 3x3 notes fit just right? Thanks

My box was actually 12x12 for the top and 11 1/2 x 11 1/2 for the bottom. I have been making other sizes for different projects though. If you do 9 1/2 x 9 1/2 for the bottom and 10 x 10 for the top, it is an excellent size for 3x3 cards and envelopes. 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 for the bottom and 6 x 6 for the top makes a great little jewelry box to be used for stocking stuffers.
