I had this idea in church Sunday and made a simple square card for my coworker for her birthday but forgot to snap a photo. I am SURE that I saw the technique on SCS, but I don't know when or where, so it is not solely my idea at all.
I took my markers and 'thudded' the brush end against the stamp, then sprayed with a light mist of water before stamping onto watercolor paper. i really like the look of it....
The card is a trifold and is stamped tone on tone with the small leaf and the oak leaf stamps in the Lovely as a Tree set.

Great card! I'd say the marker technique is called thumping. Looks great with dragonflies and green and blues, too.
