This is for Sharon's (notimetostamp) stamp simply challenge found here: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
which this week was to make a tag and gift bag. This is a plain white gift bag from Michaels measuring 10 X 8. I found this lovely hopsack textured cardstock by Paper Bouquet at our new Big Lots yesterday and it is pretty close to wild wasabi! I started with the tag and stamped the little ladybugs from Garden whimsy and the To, From, (which is from a Heidi Swapp clear set). Then I made my happy birthday sentiment from Circle of Friendship, punched that out, layered it on a white circle, then layered that on a piece of purely pomegranate punched out using my scallop circle punch. Pierced the scallops on the circle (hard to see in the photo!) and popped it up on dimensionals. The pomegranate scallops along the bottom were made using my slit punch. Those scallops are also pierced. I stamped the little ladybugs along the green strip and added a piece of ribbon (which matches purely pomegranate beautifully). Adhered that to the main piece of cs and stamped the big butterfly in pp. Put it all together and this is what it ended up as! The colours look a bit washed out in the photo, but are more vibrant IRL. That was another fun challenge Sharon. Thanks for looking!!

Hi Dawn, Nice to have you back...haven't seen any cards from you in over a week and I love your stuff. This gift bag is no exception. Soft, pretty colors, yet a ribbon bright enough to pop it. Love the little added detail of the scalloped circle on the tag. Have a great day.
