This card is for the Die Cut challenge at Caardvarks. I used my Cuttlebug to die cut the letters from a cereal box and then cut the same letters from DP to cover them.
To make the background I cut various 1" strips of DP and sewed them together using a slight overlap and the widest stitch on my Janome Mini sewing machine. After I stitched enough to make a "sheet" of paper, I adhered the sewn paper sheet to the cardfront & trimmed around it to fit. I added some velvet ribbon & rik-rak to finish.

Love this - just came home today with a huge block of gorgeous dp - maybe one day I'll get thread in my dusty old sewing machine and put it to good use! Fantastic card!
