This will be one of the cards I'll feature at my November card techniques class. The theme of the class will be "double your pleasure" -- using double sided designer paper on cards. I used one sheet of the apple cider designer paper here, first to make the 2-sided mat with the coluzzle, and then to make the star out of a pattern shown in last year's holiday issue of papercrafts magazine. I attached the star to the card with a little bit of snail in each poit.

Great card-very pretty. I can see using this design with a snowflake instead of the 3D star, then it would be mailable although you lose that wonderful 3D effect of this card. tfs

Wow! This is incredible....It is just gorgeous...and I bet you have a point about it being more so in real life! What a wonderful project..one to look forward to for sure!
