Here is my card for today's painted gourd Inspiration Challenge. I really love the large flower/star on one of the gourds. I really liked the colors of the gourd and the studded trim made around the top...so I wanted to pull these elements into my card. The card base is black cs. I used a template from Creative Memories to trace the wavy border with a gold pen. I stamped the dot stamp from the Three for You punchbox in Versamark and embossed with gold ep around the wave pattern. For the inset square panel, I sanded a piece of glossy white cs and then rubbed my ruby red ink pad directly on the paper. I cut the basic black and creamy caramel circles with my Fiskar's circle cutter. The large flower was made using my making memories tag punch. I used the same sanding and direct to paper technique for the petal paper. After punching out eight tags, I folded each corner of each petal toward the vertical center line. I adhered the petals onto the circle panel with mounting tape and then used my making memories instant setter kit to put in the large vintage brad. I then drew a line down the center of each petal with a black pen. I stamped the "for you" sentiment, from the All Holidays set, in the bottom right corner of the large red panel in versamark and embossed with black ep. This turned out completely different from what I originally envisioned, but I am pretty happy with it! I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

OMG! This is STUNNING and GORGEOUS! WOW! I'd start saying what I love about it and I'd end up listing everything. This is just an amazing interpretation of the IC piece!
