Having fun making treat containers for Halloween Treat container class this week. Won't the ladies just love these projects.
Loved that cute little Pumpkin basket shared by Carolyn King yesterday. I had to make one.
I changed my size a little.

Directions for Pumpkin Basket:
Pumpkin - Paper Strip Basket
Supplies:
Cardstock
Ribbon
Small Hole Punch
Circle Punch
Paper Cutter
Inks
Rubber Stamps
Brads
Adhesive
DIRECTIONS:
This is very simple.
Take an 8.5 by 11 sheet of Pumpkin or Orange cardstock. One sheet will make two baskets.
Cut across the 8.5” width, two 1” strips and cut the remainder of cardstock into 3/4” strips.
You will end up with a bunch of strips.
Take one 1” strip and make a circle and adhere overlapping edges, cut the excess off depending on the size opening you want.
Then take one .75” strip at a time and glue to the inside of the circle bending the strip down and then adhering to the opposite side of the circle to create pumpkin.
Do this as many times as you would like. Using four strips equals 8 going around since each strip is folded around and allows the candy on the inside to be seen.
Then punch a circle from cardstock and glue it to the inside bottom of the basket to give it more stability.
The handle is a piece of ribbon adhered to the inner rim of the pumpkin. Use brads to make the handle more secure.
Make a tag with punches and decorate with stamps.
Put candy into a cello bag before placing into finished pumpkin basket.
Blessings, Diane
