For my up-upline's masculine Oct. swap. I only had a few hours this afternoon to make my swaps for later this week and all my masculine sets are retired. So I went to the catalog for inspiration... as in Page 59 of the Fall-Winter '07 catalog.
Apricot layer's edges were distressed. The smallest burgundy layer was sponged around the edges in BBurgundy, then linen-stamped with Versamark and clear EPed. The Perennial Favorite image was stamped on watercolor paper using the impressionistic watercolor technique (color the rubber with write markers, spritz with a fine mist of water, and stamp). Tops of gold brads were sanded to minimize shine.
