My very first attempt at a Criss-cross card. This was a challenge for me, but a fun one. The hardest part is getting the paper cut on the diagonal in the right direction. (Lost a few pieces, but can use for another card like this one.) I used cool carribean cardstock. The bubbles are wall paper from the "Girl Power" samples. I Then took Tempting Turquoise cardstock and covered with the bubble paper, used a circle punch (for a floating bubble) for the pull tab at top and stamped the words with tempting turquoise. I couldn't decide what I wanted to put on the front of the card. I really enjoy the bubble queen, and haven't used her in a while. So WALLA........the bubbly queen appears. I stamped the image on white cardstock with tempting turquoise and used the aquapainted to blend the ink around for the toning. I used the aquapainter with creamy caramel reinkers for her skin tone. I cut her out and attached to the card. Then I took waterfall stickles on the edge of the tub and feet. For the bubbles I used frosted lace stickles. I hope you like my card. I am pleased with the results.
