this card has been a long time in coming...the other day i had the weird sensation that i had made a card, but i couldn't for the life of me figure out WHAT card it was...i couldn't remember any new card...anyway, i finally realized that i WASN'T going nuts - i did make a card! but i didn't like it, so i took off the part i didn't like (the main image) and saved the body to finish when i came up with another idea. so...here it is.
originally, the card was vertical. i had used the chipboard piece from blossoms and basics that is long and rectangular, with three squares "punched" out of it. i'd stamped images from priceless in the negative spaces...but it didn't fit with the rest of the card.
so "this" card started with the sage card with scalloped ds paper, stickles dots, and velvet ribbon. i still wanted to use chipboard, hence the three squares...and stars seemed to be the *perfect* thing to finish it off...in fact, the only thing that seemed at home on this card. so they had to stay.
anyway, i love that phrase - "the one and only" - so it became my sentiment...It's true, you know!
