I made this scrapbook with some friends on a retreat at the Almost HeavInn Bed and Breakfast in Rusk, TX. We spent the day stamping then went to Canton the next day to shop!

Very pretty and festive. How are you binding the front to the back? I have made albums with posts securing the album together, but it looks like you did something different. Thanks!

Shana, I made the covers from heavy cardboard covered with srcapbooking papers. Then I took a 6x6 piece of cardstock the same color as the cardstock I covered the back sides with, and folded it in half. I glued this to the front and back to form a hinge. I used eyelets to form the holes that line p with and used organza ribbon to secure the scapebook pages together. Does this make since to you?

I found the instructions for this in a book called Iris Folding by Lisa Vollrath, published by Design Originals: www.d-originals.com
I purchased mine at a scrapbooking convention last March in Austin, TX. but haven't seen it in any scrapbooking store.
