My friends tease me that I cover everything in scrapbook paper. They'll have a good laugh when they see I'm now wearing it. I made the necklace by covering 2 different size wood beads with DS series paper, strung them, added a clasp, etc. I made the bangle by covering it with strips cut from paper from the same DS group. I sealed both with gloss Mod Podge. The real trick was taking a picture of myself wearing them. I think they'll look great with my black Stampin' Up apron.

Hi Janice.
For the necklace I cut 1/4" strips from the 12x12 paper. Then depending on the size of the bead, I cut the strips down into 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" pieces.
I found it helpful to put the beads on a wooden skewer. I coated the beads - on at a time - with glue and layered the paper pieces on. It takes a little patience, but easier once you get the routine going.
When I finished covering the beads I sealed them with Mod Podge (gloss finish). I let them dry overnight. Strung them and added a chain & clasp on the back.
HTH. Give it a try and post a photo when you get yours finished. I'd love to see it.

That's wierd. The measurements on that last post got distorted when I submitted it. Let me spell it out this time. I cut 1/4 inch strips from the 12 x 12 paper. Then I cut the strips down into 1 1/4 inch to 1 1/2 inch pieces.
