My ladies came for cards today and this is what I had ready for them to create. I kept the lines simple except for the out of the box technique. I also taught them a different way to use the oval punch and introduced them to Prismacolor pencil and mineral spirits. Jan said she now has new words for her stamping dictionary and would I write a book please to explain it all!
-The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and Mona Lisa mineral spirits.
-The image panel sits up on foam squares/dimensionals.
-The ribbon is tied first then taped to the back of the panel for a tighter fit.
-The large oval is punched out of the Cuttlebug panel and then two ovals are punched and glued together and attached to the card so it sets the same height as the embossed panel.
-I mixed a jar of heat and stick with Dazzling Diamonds/glitter to make it a one step process and that is what covers the snowflake on the corner of the image panel. ItÂ’s attached with tacky glue.
-Cutting out of the box works best for me by holding the image up to a light source and marking the image on the back. Cut to the image with your paper cutter on the front side, flip it over to the back and cut to the mark previously made then cut around the image with scissors. Any straight cuts between images (not on this card), works well with the Coluzzle tool and any straight cut template.

Roxie, this is just adorable! I put it in my favorites and printed a copy to case. I don't have that snowman image tho but will use something else. I love the layout, ribbons, out of the box technique and mostly the punched out oval with sentiment. I will surely try that.
