My mom RAK'd me with probably around 100 different ribbon all 1 or 2 yards long. Very nice of her, but WHAT to do with them? My friend told me about Scrapbook.com's new Pull-EZ ribbon purse. I liked it, but it was a bit too much ($20). So, today I was just about to recycle my son's plastic bag that held his wooden puzzle book and thought... I wonder?
I used my exacto knife to make some slits in the bag in 3 rows near the top and PRESTO! Here is a ribbon storage bag for ribbons 1 to 2 yards long. Looks pretty awful, but hey, I don't mind. Does the trick! TFL.

Good idea. This past weekend I saw a woman at a scrapbook crop who took these small lengths and wrapped them around embroidary (spelling) floss cardboard spools and put them in a floss box.

Maybe you could stick some designer paper with a Xyron machine or some Contac paper to the front and then cut the holes through that? It's a great thrifty idea, tho!

Looks good to me. Makes me think of all those zipper bags that drapery panels, sheer panels, bedspreads come in these days. I can't tell you how many of those I've saved forever only to throw away. Now I have an idea for using them and sadly they are gone to the big waste basket in the sky!!!!!! :-(

Love this idea, I keep those thick plastic cases from 'curtains' to 'bed-in-a-bag'! I use them for my daughters little doll clothes, etc. Now I think I need to keep them for ME!
