Thank you, Michelle, for the background challenge. I've been meaning to use Tres Chic BG, but just had not gotten around to it. I think this BG would be a great Christmas card.
I did the serigraph technique; only backwards. I first emboss the Tres Chic then I brayer the colors on it. It's like an emboss resist. Then you wipe off the colors from the embossed image and it looks cool.
The button is Big Pieces stamp, then holes punched between spokes and in the middle. Contrasting color to show through holes. Finally add the scallop circle punch with holes punched through the scallops.
Fun card. Also, love the satin ribbon. I hope SU does more of those. Thanks for looking.

Wow! What a gorgeous card! When I was looking at the background stamps the other day, I noticed this one for the first time! (I have lots of duh moments.) I love what you did. The medallion is great!
