I wanted this card to be very masculine. Decided to use the marbled stone stamp by Yvonne Albritton Designs to create the base for the cross and the Dry Brush wheel to give the wood texture to the Chocolate Chip panel.
The marbled stone stamp was inked with River Rock and then sponged on the edges and cracks with Close to Cocoa. I then stamped the speckles directly on the stamp with Itty Bitty Backgrounds before huffing and stamping.
The cross and sentiment were embossed with Chocolate Chip craft ink and clear embossing powder.

Great card! You captured the essence of "strength" in all the textures, layers & simplicity...and kept it masculine (which can be challenging).... nice job! tfs = )

I keep going back and forth on getting this set - this sample may have pushed me over the edge - just beautiful! I think I would be framing this one for my desk as a reminder of that verse. Very nicely done!!!
