My UL and I are doing a technique book class next month. Our first round of techniques will be dry embossing and faux dry embossing. (we'll add a technique page each month)
This is my example of faux dry embossing with tone on tone heat embossing.
I used Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla CS and the Blizzard wrapping paper from the SU! holiday mini. I embossed the snowflakes using vanilla embossing powder (SU! but retired) and versamark on the vanilla CS. I stamped the sentiment in chocolate chip, and also stamped the snowflake lightly in soft sky on the image layer. Finished up with a clear rhinestone brad in the center for some bling.
