thank you to Karen for such an awesome inspiration piece, the cards have been A~M~A~Z~I~N~G!!! I am pleased with my reverse masked card. I used a combination of river rock, going gray and creamy caramel for my colors, and I saw the scallop shell on my desk and laughed coz the exact same colors were in it!!
I Stamped canvas background in river rock, then french scrip in going gray, then canvas over that in creamy caramel to tone down the gray, sponged more caramel in to highlight the scallops and stamped the sentiment in versafine black. Popped up the pinecones, added pine needles from fantastic foliage, stickled the cones and VOILA!

Wow! I love the ink layering, and reverse masking is one of my favorite techniques. This is why I love this site....A chance to see such talent and learn so much from others. Thank you for a beautiful card and for the inspiration.
