It's been a while since I've had an opportunity to sit in my craft room. I didn't know where to start when I finally sat down.
I stamped the sentiment first, but then when I got all my sponging on the card, and the ribbon on, I didn't like how the sentiment looked on the outside. So to the inside it went.
The BG is Linen in Close to Cocoa on White Cardstock. Edges sponged in Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip and Yellow Chalk.
The flower is Looks Like Spring on Tan Cardstock in More Mustard. Center is sponged with Chocolate Chip. The petals were rounded by running the paper between the length of a thin paint brush and my thumb. The leaves are Paint Prints in Old Olive on Olive Cardstock.
The inside sentiment is Sincere Salutations on White Cardstock, first in Old Olive and then in White. Then it was pierced and mounted on Olive Cardstock, then sponged with Close to Cocoa and Yellow Chalk.
TFL. And for reading my rambling....
