I know this is really a daisy but I made it into a sunflower for todays limited supply challenge. No traditional embellishments were to be used. Well, I know the buttons are used today for embellishing cards and scrapbooks but these buttons came from my mom's button jar. When I was younger , before any article of clothing was thrown away, it was my job to snip all of the buttons off and put them in a jar in case we would ever need them for a missing button on another piece of clothing. I would even cut out squares of denim from worn out jeans to use for patches! When my mom moved she gave me this big jar of buttons and that is what I used. The gold cording is that stretchy stuff that you get around a box of chocolates and the black beads in the center of the flower are from a cross stitch kit! The corner treatment is a pair of old decorative scissors. I liked this challenge and had fun coming up with "different" embellishments!
