I remember being a little girl in Sunday school and loving the description of Israel as *the land of milk and honey*. Which is probabaly why I bought the conditioner from which I peeled the label to make this card. I immediately thought of Maddy and wanted to make her a special card using this beautiful description from the Old Testament. I hope she likes it, and it will go out to her today!!
I peeled the label off a bottle of conditioner and stuck it onto white cardstock, layered it onto white layers that had weathered going both ways in saffron, ending with a black layer for PUNCH. Each layer is tipped with gold paint pen. I used weathered in saffron both ways on the caramel layer, and only one way on the summer sun layer. The quote from the Bible is handwritten in black calligraphy pen. I got a streak of gold across the jug of milk by accident but ened up liking the additional distressed look it gives,(what choice do i have but to embrace my mistakes!!) TFL!

How creative NancyRuth, and you are managing just fine without those stickles! I like the distressing, just call it a happy accident. Thanks for playing, Maddy will love it!
