I got the poem from the ChildFun website (near the bottom of the page, a poem titled "Halloween Visitors"). I changed the first line to match my trick-or-treaters here. I wrote out the poem and drew the candy corn.
I made my own decorative paper because I liked all of the Halloween decorative paper that I've been seeing! It was easy, but time-consuming: I just used all the little circle and hole punches I had (3 sizes) and tiny bits of double-stick tape (glue isn't strong enough in the local climate).
