Today's Ways to Use it Challenge was to use spirals... as many as we could in whatever ways we could. Hmmm... I have to think about this one.
Spirals make me think of being dizzy. What would make people dizzy?
Drinking too much - and I have a Bella with a martini in her hand! (Today it's an Appletini.) I'd colored the Bella in Monday night playing around with baby oil and prismas, so the colors for the card were chosen from there.
To give the card the illusion of one too many, I took the Brocade Blue layer, cut it to 5" x 3.75" and tilted it until I liked the angles. I then flipped the card over, drew lines of where to cut and then cut the corners hanging over the edge off. I didn't want to waste the corners, so they were attached to the actual corners of the card and spirals were doodled on them. The blue layer is stamped in Swirls and Blossoms. It is also direct to paper-ed and distressed using sandpaper.
I faux stitched around the bella layer and used my Basic Black marker to "sew." I then slid on my 2 spiral paperclips - one with some ribbon tied on it.
The other paperclip has my sentiment hanging on it. I stamped "Better get better" from Quick Thinking and punched it out with the word window punch. I used my crop-a-dile to connect them together and then I slid it onto the spiral.
The bella layer is up on dimensionals.
Thanks for looking!
