Okay--we are going to do a Mothermark style description, again. (it is fun and I usually don't forget to put something this way)
--This is my sketch challenge submission for today. A day late and a dollar short, since it includes some of my new purchases. Stamping is such a good way to rid oneself of *extra* cash lying about. (hee hee)
--The stamp just jumped off the shelf at me at a stamp store in Clare, MI, but only after I had been looking there for a half hour carrying around other stamps. But I took one last look at the Christmas area and this little guy *Popped* off the shelf and into my basket. It is from Penny Black.
--When I purchased this stamp, I planned on using it for a *no layer card*. BUT as I was coloring the image, it took on a life of its own. I suddenly imagined the little peas singing Silent Night out in a snowy field on a crisp clear Christmas Eve.
--The color inspiration come directly from the dp. It is from Reminisce and is calle "Sugar Plum" stripes. It is a double sided paper and is iridescent like it has Pearl Ex in it. I also got it on the same shopping trip as the little peas stamp. The card shows the two sides of the same paper.
--A year ago I would NEVER had made a card like this, but my friends here at splitcoast have stretched me--now I *pop-up* and *bling* like crazy. Thank YOU!!

Great card ... I really like how you used the horizontal stripes on the smaller pieces and the deckle edge around the circle ... we could all use a little more peas on earth.
