'Booglie Eyes' had to come back out of the cabinet to have another spin around Halloween here. I love the little 3x5 notebooks that are easily found in the stationery section of a local grocery store ... I like to have 3 or 4 on hand for quick little prizes or gifts. I just trim off the holes at the top, alter the covers, and punch the correctly spaced holes with my Rubicoil, add correctly colored coils, and it's done! (Add googly eyes, of course!)

No offense, but that sounds like a lot of work and a lot of special supplies for a 3x5 notebook. Love the results you got, though. I wonder if there are easily found notebooks with a coil/binding that I don't have to do so much work to 'cause I really love the look you got with the orange coil. The ribbon makes this so bright and cool.

Hi geogymnast82,
I trimmed off the top of the existing notebook because the spacing of many retail notebooks is different from the holes on my Rubicoil ... and the Rubicoil is the tool that allows me to use specially colored coils. Use the existing coils in notebooks to save this step ... Ribbons-a-plenty will still give a great look!
