for a challenge among a few friends...make a black and white card...no additional colors. when i found this gorgeous embossed white paper, i knew i had to use it. it looks like rich satin irl...it has such a beautiful sheen. the snowflake is embossed and cut out and colored in with stickles, so it really shimmers. in the center of the snowflake i put a mirrored snowflake embellishment i found in the dollar section of michael's.
thanks for looking!

i've had several comment on my cutting of this intricate snowflake. i cheated a little and it works great, especially on black. i cut the flake out around the outside edge, which is time consuming enough. the inner negative spaces i colored with black marker to match the bg paper. so they look cut out, but really aren't. cool cheat, huh?!!

This is stunning! Absolutely and totally stunning.
I have a question...it might be silly but I have seen alot of people talk about stickles (but don't know what they are) Please enlighten me..I'd love to be able to use this product.
This is so classy and striking. I might be inclined to put it into the middle of a wreath for over the fireplace or the front door. The black and white have so much punch!
