I finally got up the courage to tackle one of Beate's sketch ideas. Thanks, Beate, for the wonderful inspiration and great sketch. It's one I'll be using again.
I used the Old Olive and Regal Rose markers to apply the ink directly onto the starbust stamp, huffed on it and pressed it on Whisper White cs. It's layered on Old Olive and Chocolate Chip cs. The designer paper (Infuse by BasicGrey) is also layered on Old Olive and Chocolate Chip. (Oh yeah, the Infuse paper was also sponged with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink.) All layers have been distressed. I wanted to dirty up the Whisper White circle, so I grabbed my sponge, dipped it in Chocolate Chip Ink and smeared it across. Perfect!
What's that little squiggle on the card to the right of the circles, you ask? Well, it's a rub-on! I thought it went well with the Infuse paper.
I used the Word Window Punch on the Infuse paper and stamped "thank you" on the Old Olive layer with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink.
I think that about covers it. So, what do you think?
