This VSN challenge, hosted by PattyB was to create a card with lots of texture to entice the reader to touch it! Admittedly, it's not my best textured card, but when you only have 45 minutes to create, one can't start over!!! Anyway, I do like it, and hope you do too!
DP is from ProvoCraft Handmade Papers and feels very bumpy! Close To Cocoa Base was stamped in Chocolate Chip with Flannel Plaid and then stamped again with Platinum Brilliance using the SU Polka Dot BG stamp. The background for the main image is stamped on a layer with Itty Bitty Dots of Platinum ink and Dazzling Diamonds. The butterfly is stamped with versamark and heat embossed with SU lavendar EP. The sentiment is stamped on a triple layer of ovals which swivel from a brad. (This is to entice you to touch it!!!). Oh, and I almost forgot, the ribbon is turquoise organdy with a silver wire hardware piece tied on.
Thanx for looking!
