It has been a while since I have done a challenge, but I had some time today and thought I would combine this weeks colour challenge and Limited supply challenge. I love guava and artichoke together. Unfortunately I really do need a sympathy card. My son's best friends mother just lost her mother last week, so this is for her. I took this apart and chopped pieces off here and there and in the end had to start all over again! Best to make sympathy cards before you need them!!
Anyway, I just wanted to keep this one simple. I watercoloured the flower with my aqua painter and stamped the sanded background onto the artichoke using artichoke ink.
Thanks Jen for a great challenge and thanks for looking!!

Absolutely beautiful! It's so striking, and I love the rounded corners... gives it a softness. Your rose almost looks like it's been cross-stitched! (Maybe it's just my monitor?) TFS!

This is lovely. I really am so fond of the alternately round and pointed corners. And I like how the Sanded bg looks. The brads on the flower image panel look great. Such a nice card!
