This is my first altered frame for my 1 year old niece. How fun and easy! I painted the frame in a nice creamy white craft paint. I used Basic Grey designer paper. You know how it is aged and distressed? Well, DH thought I got the frame dirty. LOL!
The frame is a $1.50 from Michaels. However it doesn't come with a piece of glass so that is the only thing I don't like about them. I wish we had a Target here in Canada so I could get my hands on those one's Emily alters. Maybe I will have to check the dollar stores.

This is really sweet. Love the paper and the charm. Very sweet.
Wonder if Ikea would have a similar frame? You may look at using extra heavy acetate instead of the glass it case it gets knocked over by the little one.
