Thanks for AlyStamps for the idea on this card! I cased her card in the With Grattitude gallery for this card for my stamp camp.
I first stamped the large leaf in Ruby Red on the card base along with the sentiment.
Here is how I made the tiles:
First I punched out four 1 3/8" squares from kraft paper and rounded all the corners with the 3/16" corner rounder.
I stamped the Sanded BG on some scrap Naturals Ivory CS in River Rock (this was to give a faux cracked glass look to it).
Then I did a collage of the leaves from With Gratitude using More Mustard, Ruby Red and Garden Green over the Sanded BG stamp. I stamped off at least once so that the leaves looked kind of muted. I filled in the white spaces with Itty Bitty BG and chocolate chip, again stamping off at least once.
Then I punched 4 squares out of this paper using the the 1 1/4" square punch and again rounded the corners with the 3/16" corner rounder.
Next I layered the kraft and leaf squares. I pressed them into a VersaMark pad to get them good and inked up and embossed with clear EP. That gave the glassy look. I layered them on some Ruby Red CS so I could line it up easier, then trimmed the edges so it just looked like tile suspended on the card.
I wound some natural hemp around it all and used pop dots to adhere it to the card base.

Very Fall-y. I love the colors and the overall layout. Nice card!
