I knew I wanted to make a Americana B-day card. I needed one fast. So, I cased this idea from the SU Idea Book 2002-2003. I changed a few things on mine. But, I still like the look. I randomly stamped the stars on the Night of Navy and the Real Red c/s. I attached the Real Red c/s onto the cream c/s. I stamped the image using Black Stazon. Then I colored with water color pencils. I used a q-tip to sprinkle the glitter to the stars (don't know if you can see in picture). I took my square punch and cut on the diagonal and placed them in the corners. I then took my ruler and piercing tool to add to the corners as well. I used the Cuttlebug Scallop punches for the "Happy Birthday" held on with Tacky Tape because of the star brad. I also sprinkled some glitter on the Happy Birthday. I finished the look by adding a piece of jute in the right hand corner. This was really fun to do. Now, I know what I'm going to make for July 4th.
TFL!
