Here's how I did the Camouflage Background
(a modified version of the retro technique)
Supplies:
- Glossy Cardstock
- 3 coordinating colors
- post-it notes
- rubber brayer
(note: you can also try this with 4 colorsjust repeat the 2nd step.)
1. Take about 4 or 5 post-it notes and cut them into various curvy shapes. Place them randomly on top of your cardstock as desired. Start with your darkest coordinating color brayer over the top of the post-its.
2. Nextmove the post-its to another positionthen brayer with the next to the darkest color.
3. Last...remove the post-its and brayer with the lightest color.
Clear as mud? LOL
Really...it's pretty simple once you try it. If you've done the retro-technique, it's basically the same thing, only instead of leaving the post-its square, I cut them into odd curvy shapes.
