I needed to make a thank you card for a lovely couple who are also artists - talk about intimidating!!! My intention was to use the With Gratitude set, but ended up with only the sentiment. I love this Agapanthus image and somehow it seemed more appropriate here. This is also the first time I've used River Rock, and I love it. Here's how I made this:
Stamped the image with Versamark and embossed with detail white EP.
Sponged the flower heads with River Rock to give them more definition - a little emboss resist.
Colored the open flowers with my blender pen and White Craft ink. It's a very subtle, translucent look.
Using my Versamarker and stampa-ma-jig, I made the sentiment into two lines (omitting technique) to fit into the upper left corner, and embossed with detail clear EP.
Again using my stampa-ma-jig, I stamped the flowers with River Rock on the bottom and left side of the background.
I finished by sponging all around the edges with River Rock, layered it onto white cardstock and then onto a cardbase of textured Always Artichoke. I just love how this turned out.
