This was truly a HARD card to make. My husband's brother is being forced into an early retirement due to an auto-immune disease with some weird name at the age of 58. Rich says he's probably happy about the retirement part -- who wouldn't be?, but being sick shouldn't be part of the mix! Anyway, I love the boots turned flower vase and the "retired" looking gist of the stamp, so I used it. Heartfelt is because we really care and want him to know it. Inside of the card is a sentiment I found in my AGC software, goes like this:
"Walk on a rainbow trail,
Walk on a trail of song
And all around you will be beauty...Navajo Song
May the sun bring you new energies by day,
may the moon softly restore you by night,
may gentle breezes refresh your soul,
may you walk gently through the world
and know its beauty."
How beautiful is that?

Nancy- what a beautiful card- indside and out! I'm sure it will be well received, and pray that his retirement turns into a wonderful time.
