This is for today's IC90. I love thie inspiration pieces that Karen gave us today. I had to try my hand at some free hand painted flowers and green stems. My watercolor minis fern stamp came in very handy to fill in some ground texture around the water's edge and flowers. You can decide if this is a sun rise or a sun set.
I painted my flowers and stem with watercolor brushes and reinkers-olive, ruby red, baroque burgunday, celery and filled in using my minis fern stamp using olive and artichoke. I masked off a line for the water with post-its, sponged on bashful and buckaroo blue. I highlighted the waters edge by sponging on banana and then created the darker sky with the two blues again and using my cloud template. I cut my ruby red piece of cardstock to size and then cut the window out with my coluzzle. I used my big SU paper cutter to cut little strips of paper to create the winow panes.
