This is for WT128 to make a Halloween card. I've had this adorable set called Fright Night by My Favorite Things (www.mftstamps.com) but haven't gotten it out to play with. Today's challenge was the perfect nudge. I stamped the three kids, painted with reinkers and a watercolor brush. I sponged hightlights around the kids to show the candle light shining out of the pumpkins. I created a big, dark tree with my mini fern stamp with caramel and basic brown ink. I dry brushed on gray reinker for the sidewalk and olive for the grass area. I filled in texture of the grass with the mini fern stamp. I cut a round circle and placed the paper with the hole over the sky area and sponged on banana and apricot for the moon. I covered the moon with the punched out circle and then sponged on gray for the dark sky. I painted little lines on the sidewalk and used my itty bitty bg to add some texture. I also used a tiny brush and added little bits of grass growing out of the cracked lines. I stamped the cat on scrap paper with craft ink and embossed with black ep and cut out to pop up over the sidewalk. I stamped the bats in front of the moon.
