Melissa's gallery was so clean and all her cards reflect her classy style. Here is my version of Melissa's wonderful card. I love her classic clean look, and that's how I started...how it ended, well let's say it *morphed*.
I knew I wanted to work with River Rock. I just love how clean and crisp the paper is, it's truly a stand alone for a one layer card. But then, instead of the sticker borders, I chose ribbon, and I needed to hide the back where the ribbon was adhered. So then, I had to layer it onto Purely Pomegranate. So much for a classic one layer card. Then I was going to use a sentiment stamp, but, when the circle images I punched didn't really fit the 5 petal flowers, I put them up top, and declared it perfect. I did some faux piercing...LOL isnt' that hilarious...not faux stitching, I'm just pretending to make pretend holes bwahahaha. Anyway, Ms. Wohler's card is here Simply Scrappin' Fever by mwohlers at Splitcoaststampers , and I don't think I was able to keep to those classic clean lines, but I now have a wonderful gallery to browse through next time.
