The inspiration challenge for today, IC89 is what inspired the colors in this card. I picked up the brown, pinkish reds, soft greens and yellows that I saw in the bedspread and incorporated them in my color scheme. I had started by trying a totally different card (four times!) but threw each one in the garbage, as they just didn't turn out! SO I opted for a totally different theme, and this clown actually picked up my spirits over my previous failures!! We all have those days, don't we!? I'm just thankful to be able to do one at all! Thanks to Karen and Crystal.
Watercolored main image. Distressed the edges and sponged brown distress ink along them. Holes for leather lacing made with paper drill and ruler (though you wouldn't know it with the mistakes!).
BG paper stamped in various inks with solid heart.
Sentiment popped up on pop dots.
All stamps by High Hopes Stamps.
TFL!
