I had a scrap of red glossy cardstock on my table (from a swap I'm in at my LSS) and needed a card for a nephew's birthday. He loves spicy foods, esp. hot peppers so I thought of the chili pepper punch I have. The card progressed from the three punched out peppers.
I thought hot, then flames, then yellow so I rubbed my Sunflower Yellow StazOn pad on a piece of white glossy and clear embossed it to keep the shiny look I wanted. Thsi was layered on white then black.
I had never made a square card before so I decided to do it for this card. I forget the size but I think it was 5x5. I didn't like the look of the spine (glossy paper is very thick, and even scoring and using a bray it looked ragged) so I covered it with black glossy paper. I kinda like the compostion book look it gives to the card.
As I was cleaning up I found a fourth pepper punch out so I glued it to the inside of the card (not shown).

I like the size! The red glossy paper looks great with these bright colors and the chili peppers really"pop"! I can almost feel the "heat" coming from this card! Great job.
