-i've been wanting to make some cards with baroque motifs, so this will hopefully be the first of a few!
-i LOVE this chocolate chip satin ribbon, so i was overjoyed that it's being sold in rolls (LOTS of it!) in the holiday mini...that way i don't have to hoard the few yards i got in my theater ribbon originals.
-i thought it was such a good idea to use the points of the larger motif as leaves, like they do in the fall/winter catty
-i was so pleased when i got done this card and was looking at it and just soaking it in when i realized...this card reminds me of starofmay's work! i love the striking simplicity of her cards that somehow don't SEEM simple...and was so pleased to have captured maybe a little of that.

Holy cow, this is gorgeous! I love everything and yes, it has a simplicity to it but is still so striking and beautiful! I am getting married in a few months and used this set for the invites, thank yous, etc. My colors are chocolate and turquoise! TFS!
