The challenge is to create a pink card and I followed Mytimes challenge layout.
The flowers are colored with marker and blender pen. I only colored near the center and blended towards the outer edge of the image. Then I heat embossed with Ultra Thick powder careful not to over heat or the StazOn will run.
*The white panels with the flourish has the finger walking technique so it doesnÂ’t cover the entire panel, I then put a few spots going the opposite image direction. I also distressed with the blender pen around the edge.
The pink base and rice paper panels are ink distressed using a sponge.
*To keep the even flow of the image there is two ways to do it. My pieces were scrap so no extra cutting needed and I secured them to the table top the same distance apart that they were to be mounted to the card then did my stamping; so no stamping was done on the spaces and no distorted image. This avoids the image from being elongated or stretched out looking.
The other way to do this is to stamp the image on one piece of cardstock cut into even panels then cut the same distance off each panel to allow for the space.
*The three panels lie directly on top of the rice paper panel for about ¾”, the upper portion is built up the same distance as the rice paper panel so it’s even on card.

A great pink card, Roxie! Love how the coloring made the flowers look.

Love those flowers and the rice print with the stripped ribbon across it. I even like all the pink and I'm not a pink person.
Nice job Roxie combining the challenges.

Love it! I bet you could add this to the challenge to use Black in a card to make the color pop. I think the black makes the pink look much more vivid.
