The challenge is do the Monet technique which can be found in TLC85 then the cracked glass technique found in the resources forum of this site.
My first attempt on watercolor paper forced Monet to rise up and scream “don’t put my name to that disaster you’re calling art”. So I tried just regular cardstock, markers and misting the paper and it worked great for me, anyway I’m pleased with the results in person, it looks rather bright here on screen.
I did ink distressing on the image panel before and after heat embossing and cracking. After was to get a little into the cracks so it shows up better, then wipe the panel clean with a paper towel. I also ink distressed all layers but black.
The tab is a square cut in half and brad.
The ribbon is tied first then tape to the back side of the card which is mounted on white cardstock – I’m using up scrap and this method works well for it.
Well Sherry, I can say I gave it my best shot, but I don't like this card much...it's cracked without the cracked glass!
