This is my Swap Page for the August 6x6 Scripture Swap. Our theme for this month is STRENGTH. I had been wanting to play with the Three-Step Roses in the “Roses in Winter” SU Stamp Set for quite awhile, so I spent quite a bit of time stamping different color combinations on scratch paper, until I finally decided a mixture of Pretty in Pink, Apricot Appeal, and Regal Rose. I was so pleased how this color combo came out, because it looks just like my favorite color of Rose. The verse of Scripture stamped on this page, Isaiah 40:31, is one of my favorites:
"Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary."

You did a beautiful job on this, and this is one of my favorite Bible verses also! I think I'm in your group, too! THanks for sharing your instructions and colors also!

Into my favs! You got a fabulous look of the roses! The textile panel adds great depth. Did you hand write the verse? I've never seen it in a stamp before. And congratulations on your one-year anniversary on SCS!

Such a beautiful job on the card....love the idea of the scripture being the focus of the card! I used to make cards for a card ministry *before I decided to go back to school :0)* and these are a wonderful idea for when I get done with school and get back to Bible study again! Thanks for sharing this!

This is gorgeous! Love how you did the background with the scripture over top! Looks marvelous! Your time spent on picking out *just the right colors* was not wasted! The roses are beautiful. Great job.
