Here's my page for Sheri's challenge. The instructions were to "create a page demonstrating childhood and/or childlike attributes."
I used a LO by C.D. Muckosky from the CK July 2007 issue P. 57 for my inspiration.
The journaling on the tab behind the large photo reads "You have just discovered that you can sit on things by going backwards, bum first. Now that you don’t always have to climb up and turn around, you delight in practicing this new skill of sitting down. Everything that is lower than your bottom is fair game, even if it isn’t strong enough to hold you. Yesterday you thought it was fun to back up to a wall and slide your bum down the wall to sit right up against it. Then it became fun to grab my hand and pull me down to sit beside you! We’ve sat on your favourite blue and white cardboard box, the bottom stair, the back door step, the bucket, your tunnel, the laundry basket turned over – just to name a few. I’m not sure which one of us is having more fun with the new skills that you learn! It is an absolute joy to see you develop new capabilities and to be so enthused about sharing your achievements. I can only hope that you will retain this joy of discovery and continue to strive for and savour the sense of something accomplished! August 4, 2007"
