Ahhh, back from convention and ready to do the challenges again!
When I saw the color challenge I thought it would be a perfect time to create something with the new accents & elements Build-A-Flower set we received at convention. I was not sure about these when I got them, but after using them a few times...I love them!
I layered two of the bashful blue build-a-flowers with dimensionals to create the flower for this card, and added a ice rhinestone brad in the middle. You will have to take my word for it that the ribbon is really more of a bashful blue and certainly celery IRL (I had to use my scanner this morning instead of the camera since the camera is still in DH's truck from the trip. The scanner seemed to do some weird things to the ribbon color). Anyway, I scalloped the bottom of the certainly celery DP, paper pierced the scallops and sponged the edges of all the layers in close to cocoa. The sentiment was punched with the oval punches and also layered with dimensionals.

This is great - love the flower and everything about it.
