This is a way to use less designer series ribbon. (should have called this card "Oh so cheap" lol)
I just cut a strip of paper the same size and then stamp it with linen (tone on tone), punch it with paper piercer and draw in the lines with the signo gel pen. Faux stuff isn't just cheap :-) it's fun. It makes tying the real stuff around it easier too. The bloom is embossed with choc. chip craft and clear ep. then it's watercoloured wet into wet with soft sky and blue bayou
I love the sanded bkgd. and can't get enough of this oh so lovely set.
The bubble paper is a technique I made up but had posted in the wrong spot so it got deleted.
Here's how you do it for anyone who'd like to try.
Take a sheet of glossy paper and load up a stamp tray with reinker in the colour of your choice (here it is soft sky). Then cover your aquapainter and pounce the aqua painter against the glossy paper repeatedly until you cover your sheet. The aim is to get bubbles to appear adn when they pop they leave spots of concentrated colour. It looks scrumptious with fishies and in blue bayou.
